Everything ready for a new edition of the D*na Dénia Gastronomic Festival
The sixth edition of the D*na Festival will bring together the best chefs of our country in the Alicante city of Dénia, to pay tribute to the sea as an essential element of our gastronomy.
Next Saturday, September 29 and Sunday, October 1, an impressive table of more than 700 meters facing the sea will travel along the Marineta Cassiana promenade in Dénia to show seafood gastronomy in its purest form. From the most authentic and native to the most avant-garde cooking techniques, with the aim of sharing the riches of the territory.
D*na 2023 will have a wide variety of themes and speakers on its stages. Different perspectives that will act as a lighthouse for the gastronomy of the future, especially that related to the sea.
Conceived as an open-air auditorium, the main stage – the Sea Stage – will host presentations and showcookings by great chefs representing the lands of the Iberian Peninsula bathed by our seas. The best of seafood cuisine from all these regions will be shown to the public by renowned chefs such as Ángel León, José Avillez, Nacho Manzano, Sergio Bastard, Josean Alija, Carolina Álvarez, Sergio Torres, Lucía Freitas and Pablo González, who will accompany to the three Michelin stars Quique Dacosta, gastronomic curator of D*na.
The L’Exquisit Mediterrani stage will talk about cuisine, the sea and wines, through live preparations and pairings by prominent chefs and winemakers from the Valencian Community.
One of the most popular activities at D*na, the cooking workshops, will expand its programming in this new edition of the Festival to offer a greater number of workshops, which will allow the public (upon registration through the Festival website ) learn about local products and preparations directly from the chefs.
The sixth edition of D*na Dénia Gastronomic Festival will also give the spotlight to local producers and restaurateurs, exceptional ambassadors of Mediterranean gastronomy. Through their sales and tasting stands arranged in a central square, all of them will offer visitors the most representative gastronomic products of the Valencian Community along with the creations of prominent local chefs.
