Trained in kitchens in Amsterdam and London for ten years, Begoña Rodrigo opened La Salita in Valencia at the end of 2005. A restaurant where she experiments with the most local products to give them a global concept and controls the entire production process of the vegetables from their cultivation.

During these years, the winner of the first edition of Top Chef has not stopped growing professionally until she has become one of the leading names in national gastronomy. She has been named ‘CHEF DE L'AVENIR’ of 2020 by the International Academy of Gastronomy. That same year she opened her most cosmopolitan proposal Farcit and L ́hort al Un.
