D*NA Festival Dénia confirms the celebration of what will be its sixth edition, on September 30 and October 1, 2023. The capital of the Marina Alta will once again host this reference gastronomic meeting, organized by the Dénia Foundation Creative City of Gastronomy of the Valencian Community and curated by the three Michelin star chef Quique Dacosta, gastronomic ambassador par excellence of the Valencian Community and undisputed representative of Mediterranean cuisine.
- On September 30 and October 1, D*NA will bring together renowned producers, restaurateurs, chefs and gastronomy lovers in Dénia (Alicante).
- This new edition will have the sea as a conceptual axis, and its products and seafood cuisine as protagonists.
- The meeting, curated by the 3 Michelin star chef Quique Dacosta, is consolidated as one of the great gastronomic events in the Mediterranean.
As Dacosta himself explains, “this year, D*NA will pay tribute to our seas, without losing the essence of this festival, which is to put the product, producers, people and haute cuisine on the same level, so that they feed each other and contribute to highlighting the gastronomy of this region, from tradition and history, to innovation and modernity” . Thus, “D*NA 2023 will once again be a great festival around gastronomy”, < /em>the chef points out.
With the sea as a conceptual axis, and seafood products and cuisine as protagonists, D*NA will return to the Marineta Cassiana promenade in Dénia (Alicante), in a setting open to the public, which will expand its route to host the different scenarios. Producers, restaurateurs, renowned chefs and new references in Valencian and national cuisine, together with food critics and fans of good food, will meet for two days in Dénia to learn, debate and show the best of Mediterranean gastronomy, through interesting presentations, workshops and showcookings live.
The Marineta promenade will also have stalls for displaying and selling products, where around twenty restaurateurs and regional producers will offer traditional products and tapas to the public. All this in a festive atmosphere, which in this next edition of D*NA we intend to enhance to encourage all gastronomy lovers to experience this great event firsthand.
The sixth edition of D*NA consolidates this festival as one of the great gastronomic events in our country and positions the city of Dénia - which in 2015 was named Creative City of Gastronomy by UNESCO - as the gastronomic capital of the Mediterranean and destination par excellence to discover and taste the best of the ancient culinary culture and the exquisite products of the Mediterranean.
